The Whitman Publishing Co. produced this "Popeye Borrows a Baby Nurse" soft covered book in 1937. The 9-5/8" by 7" book features such Popeye comic strip favorites as Alice the Goon, the Sea Hag and Swee' Pea. The 72-page book is complete with a strong spine and no loose pages. There are cover creases, edge wear and paper missing at the bottom of the cover. A few pages have slight discoloration and small edge tears, but there are no writing or paint marks.
